Hi, I’m Stephanie founder of Boxers and Beer Pet Photography. I specialize in creating fine art portraits of your four-legged family members, preserving the fleeting moments that matter most.

My journey into photography wasn’t born from picture-perfect memories. I grew up in Alaska, where the landscape was wild and beautiful but my home life was anything but. I found solace in the company of dogs. At 12, I started showing dogs as a way to create structure, purpose, and escape from the chaos I was surrounded by.

My first Boxer, Cobra, changed my life. Because of him, I discovered the world of well-bred, purposefully raised dogs and found a mentor who believed in me when I needed it most. Those dogs weren’t just pets they were my lifeline, my first experience of unconditional love.

Over time, life moved forward. I grew up, got married, and said goodbye to some of my most beloved companions Cobra, Tilly (pictured), and Kolya. And when they were gone, I realized how few meaningful photos I had of them. Not snapshots. Not blurry phone pics. But real portraits that honored who they were.

That heartbreak shaped my mission: To give devoted pet parents the one thing I didn’t have timeless art that celebrates the bond you share.

Today, I create wall-worthy heirlooms that don’t just show what your pet looked like, but capture who they are their spirit, their mischief, their heart. Because I know just how much they mean to you. They saved me, too.
